On a black car it looks alight but sometimes it looks trashy if it's a used, torn up mercedes. Anyway what's the purpose of tinted windows? Looks like you're asking a power hungry cop to pull you over for 5 over the limit.

there was a time when you couldn't get an inspection sticker with the tint too dark on front windows.

Is that still a thing?

Cops don't pull you over for that anymore, keeps your car cooler, privacy, I have a black car fwiw

Yea but people always found a way around it.

I used to go to Thibodaux to get mine and never actually got inspected. Id pay my $10, get a new sticker and leave.

Protects and prolongs the interior.

Keeps the interior cooler in summer.

Keeps people from eyeballing things easy they may want to steal.

It looks nice when done correctly without bubbles or fading etc.

I have non tinted and a sun roof so you can see me across the intersection. Let it be known I'm a law abiding white male, responsible and probably won't get pulled over easy.

In CO, it's necessary. The sun is brutal. I have 20% all around and over the privacy glass. I wish I would have went darker.

There are lots of soccer mom Tahoes with dark tint on the entire windshield.

Note: it's "illegal" but no inspection stickers/brake tags and cops don't care.

i drove a company vehicle for a while in NOLA. went to get an inspection sticker. they rejected it because tint was too dark. I peeled the shite off on the spot. window was covered in glue. looked like shite but got the sticker.

It looks good on any black car, especially a Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, or Audi

Really good

Not sure why anyone with a car like this wouldn't tint
